I couldn't resist sharing this site, which has been created
by the art restorers at two major Russion museums. These restorers
have a side practice creating reproductions of the paintings
in their museum and selling them for fairly low prices. These
lucky artists get to work directly from the original paintings.
The website has fascinating detail photos showing the progress
of painting reproductions. Very cool!
